Overview of data processing
This website serves as an informational site for the Hafenmeister system. We collect as little personal data as possible. When you open the website, no cookies are set, no analytics or tracking services are used, and no third-party content is loaded. Fonts and icons are served from our own server. Data is only transmitted to a service provider if you send us a request via the contact form (see section Contact form and email).
Hosting
This website is hosted on a server in Germany. When accessing the website, technical information is automatically collected in server log files by the hosting provider.
Hosting provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.
SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. An encrypted connection can be recognized by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from http:// to https:// and by the lock symbol in the browser line.
Server log files
When visiting our website, information is automatically stored in server log files that your browser automatically transmits. These include: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request, and IP address.
This data is not combined with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of the website. Server log files are automatically deleted after 14 days.
Fonts and icons
This website uses the DM Sans typeface and the Material Symbols icon font. Both font files are stored on our own server and loaded from there. No connection to Google servers is established when you open the website. No data is transmitted to Google.
Contact form and email
You can send us a request via the contact form ("Request a demo"). Name, email address and message are required, the company name is optional. The details are transmitted to our server and delivered to us from there as an email. For delivery we use the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The transfer is based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR). To prevent abuse, our server briefly processes your IP address when you submit the form (limiting requests per address, stored for a maximum of 15 minutes). If you write to us directly by email instead, the following applies accordingly.
We process your details in order to answer your request and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual steps. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not pass on the data without your consent. We delete the request once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Legal basis
The processing of personal data on this website is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Estonian data protection law. The legal bases are: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps, e.g. requests via the contact form) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest, e.g. server log files). Processing based on consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) currently does not take place on this website.
